The higher the number in tex, the coarser (stronger) the thread. The lower the number in tex, the finer (thinner) the thread.
For the tex numbering, the multiplication sign x can be used instead of the slash at Nm: Nm 80/2 = 12.5 tex x 2
Rule for the conversion of multiple twists:
Twist twist: 2,000: Nm = tex
Triple twist: 3,000: Nm = tex
Quadruple twist: 4,000: Nm = tex
